Global Risk Talent Programme

About the Global Risk Talent Programme

ING’s Global Risk Talent Programme is a unique chance to learn by doing.

In your first year, for example, you get to do two projects involving two of our four Risk specialisms: Market Risk, Credit Risk, Insurance Risk and Model Validation.

Next, you spend two years deepening your knowledge of one of these fields and develop your consultancy and leadership skills. Forming part of an international team, you contribute to the development of innovative products and services, work with top management and colleagues around the world, and build up your network of contacts.

By the end of the traineeship, you’ll not only be an experienced risk professional, you’ll also be fully equipped to take the next step in your career.

It’s your career

We believe in facilitating talent rather than leading you by the hand, so the initiative you show will go a long way to determining your opportunities.

Besides projects and work placements, the traineeship therefore includes three further aspects:

  • development element consisting of mandatory training, workshops and courses designed to increase your skills and leadership qualities.
  • mentoring part consisting of day-to-day advice and support from managers. This also includes coaching on specific skills and monitoring by an HR manager
  • extensive programme to welcome you and familiarize you with ING.

As part of the ING performance culture, a review board will assess your progress and achievements every year.

Compensation and benefits

We take the view that the top-quality service we provide our clients should be reflected in the conditions of employment and working conditions we offer our staff.

You can expect excellent conditions of employment, an extensive benefits package and a pleasant working environment that enables you to turn in a top performance every day. You will be offered a permanent employment contract and can start anytime during the year. Local conditions will be applicable. ING will cover the cost should you be required to move to another country.

Development

ING is committed to developing the people who work for us. On-the-job training is an integral part of our daily work and, in addition, ING runs its own ING International Graduate Programme.

Traineeship locations

Work locations are available across the globe, depending on available projects, business needs and taking into account your personal preference.
